As our world is changing at a rapid pace, the need to stay connected within our industry grows ever greater. The IABSC has such an opportunity – the industry’s only Annual BHS Summit. The theme for this year’s event is “Changing the Industry Standard”.
With less than one week to go prior to the event, I wanted to make clear what you can expect from the program. This will not be just a review of the past year. Our program is built on the look forward, while learning from our past and present.
You will hear from various airport speakers – our host airport, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport will provide some lessons learned about managing through the pandemic, as well as what lies ahead for this organization. You will hear from MSP, BWI, SAN regarding trends in future planning.
The TSA will provide five different speakers, providing us with information on their mission as it has had to evolve. What trends will become the standard operating procedures? As an industry, how will we need to adapt to these challenges and changes?
Two separate sessions will address the need for moving forward in the digital arena. The IABSC Technology and Innovation Committee will host two sessions: first, Getting Value from Data – how are end users making business improvements based on acquisition of data; second, Leveraging the Digital Twin – how industry can utilize the digital twin to its advantage.
Our Keynote Address comes from Delta Air Lines. The speaker will give us insight on how they are transforming the customer experience by changing the industry standards for cleanliness.
The entire summit is being held in a virtual setting. The sessions also will have interactive opportunities for question and answer, so your input is encouraged and valued. You will be able to submit your own questions and help us to grade the scale of the questions submitted, pushing the query to the top of the list.
Our exhibitors are providing virtual exhibit booths for you, to view their offerings – how they are changing the industry standards. Our sponsors are providing information on how they are progressing in the industry. We encourage you to visit their displays and arrange discussions with their representatives.
