As we open 2022, the IABSC operates with a newly elected board. On behalf of the elected directors, I express our collective thanks to the industry for electing us to represent you in this association. Please see the new board, listed on our adjacent web page. Read about us on the recent posts page.
We have held our first meeting as the 2022-2023 Board of Directors. Our first duty has been to elect the executive officers. The results?
- Secretary-Treasurer – David Delaney
- Vice Chairman – John Gude
- Chairman – Gaylloyd Dadyala
From each of the elected officers – thank you for confidence in our selection to these positions. We are eager to serve our members.
I would like to express my appreciation to our three outgoing directors.
Dan Vandevenne – for putting in the efforts to guide the Technology & Innovation Committee. Dan spent countless hours on video communications for the past two years supporting this committee. Additionally, Dan spent a significant amount of time in organizing technology related elements of our monthly meetings.
Mike Conner – your efforts in ideation for this association are truly valued. Your input will be missed. Thanks for keeping the organization running, with your outlook on our finances, and your input to marketing. We plan to tap into your know how every so often…
Chris Norton – our industry has benefitted from your stewardship of this association. Thanks for your tireless input and helping me to understand the behind-the-scenes history of this association. Your counsel and guidance have helped me through these past two years, especially considering the circumstances we have had to navigate.
ANNUAL BHS SUMMIT – REGAINING ALTITUDE
Looking to the immediate future, our 2022 Summit is upon us. We have been diligently planning this event for months. I believe that we have a solid, informational agenda for the broad interests of our membership. We are proceeding with the live in-person event. The current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic will not keep us from ‘Regaining Altitude’. However, I do remind all of the need for personal responsibility for your own safety, as well as that of your industry colleagues. If you need a mask, we will have these available at our registration table when you enter. There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue. And, we have increased the spacing between chairs in our auditorium. I ask all in attendance to be considerate of your industry colleagues during our event.
There is still time to join us, please review our agenda and register for this event. Looking forward to seeing you there on January 18th!
