CYBERSECURITY PART 2 – WHY IT MATTERS
Just how connected are all the parts and pieces of the BHS system to the outside world? Where are the systems vulnerabilities to threats? How often do they occur? How can we work to limiting our risk?
The meeting will start with T.J. Schulz, President of ACC, who will tell us What’s Happening on the Hill. T.J. will also introduce some exciting papers being published by ACC’s committees discussing best practices for IT Procurement.
Carrie Mills, Senior Manager Cybersecurity with Southwest Airlines, will present a real-life incident that occurred at an airport along with a general discussion regarding cybersecurity threats and management from an airline perspective.
Jorge Argenti, Sr. IT & Communications Eng. with Swanson Rink, will discuss Cybersecurity considerations in airport communication projects. Jorge will identify where we have potentially “open doors and windows” in our IT Infrastructure, and lead a discussion on how to address the vulnerabilities and the challenges faced in doing so.
There will be GROUP CHATS to close out the meeting. Every 10- 15 minutes, experience a new group of colleagues (4-6 people). This is an open forum to talk about whatever comes to mind. .
