COVID-19 has affected our industry and organization in many different ways, including the Young Professionals Contest that launched just before the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. In March we announced that we were postponing the Young Professionals Contest with the intention of relaunching later this year.
Recently, Martin Plazyk, Chairman of the Young Professionals Committee, announced that the YP Contest will be relaunched in July. The contest will have the same Shark Tank style business competition, with a new twist. We would like to consider the impacts of COVID on the BHS industry, and how we will have to adapt with new ideas, approaches, and products to serve both the market as well as customers.
Great news – for those of you who did not previously sign up for the contest but would now like to participate you are able to. We are asking for everyone to re-register if they would like to participate, including teams who previously signed up. A sign-up will be provided in the near future.
